Nathan Brinkmeyer, owner and operator of Brinkmeyer Product Design, has been a professional Product Developer since 2006. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Iowa he began a career in product design in the small arms and defense industry.
From there, he simultaneously branched out into the toys and games industry when co-starting a family-owned LLC,where he helped develop and launch family-friendly tabletop games as a creative outlet and a way to build additional skills. Other positions include a two-year employment with a major office furniture manufacturer working with a variety of teams to develop and release high end table systems and storage solutions.
His experiences have contributed to his ability to think outside the box and to produce innovative and effective alternatives to a wide range of products. He has a passion for taking an everyday item and transforming it into something better and more efficient or useful.
Brinkmeyer Product Design, LLC began in 2017 as a way to provide freelance product design work for clients seeking independent solutions and has evolved into offering Nathan’s original ideas for licensing potential in a variety of industries.
